About Me
Welcome to Jennifer Norch Photography, and more specifically my "About Me" page.

I assume (since you are here!) that you would like to know a little bit about the "Great and Powerful Oz"...the girl behind the curtain, (or the camera, in this case). So, where to begin?!?!

I am a mama to three wonderful children- Kennedy, Dillon, and Sydney. I've been married to my husband, Jason, for 22 years. I enjoy sports, photography, and reading...and of course, PHOTOGRAPHY!

I have a Master's Degree from The Ohio State University, and my primary career for 20+ years has been working as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the Neonatal ICU at our local hospital. Perhaps that is where I found my passion....caring for babies and families, watching things (specifically tiny humans!) grow. Wanting to capture every fleeting moment.

However, I've never been someone to be idly content with the status quo. In a constant battle with myself to stay challenged and follow wherever my curiosity leads, I picked up a camera and decided to learn photography. And not just the "snapping pictures" sort of photography, but learning about light, color, and movement. Learning about not just "taking a picture" but about "MAKING a picture." Pictures that tell stories. Pictures that evoke emotion. Pictures that have meaning.

I have been blessed by so many people who have become a special part of my photography journey. Whether you've been in front of my camera as a client, or behind me, giving advice and coaching, I have so many people to thank for the growth I've experienced, both personally and professionally.
But my photography journey is far from complete. I have many chapters to write and hopefully many years to do it!
