We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.
As many of you know, I am a mommy to three amazing children, wife to one super supportive husband, and Nurse Practitioner for newborn babies. Photography is not my full time job, but it is a full-time passion. And my love for photography crosses over into these other areas of my life- I use my talents at work, at home, in school, and in civic groups.
I am thankful and humbled to be given opportunities throughout the year to use my time and talents in service to others. I have supported many organizations, including March of Dimes, the J. Babe Stearn Youth Center, and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. I also provide services to our schools, our sports teams, and other local organizations.
There are so many people who could benefit from pictures, but might not have the financial means to have a photo session. Maybe you know someone personally- maybe a family fostering children. Maybe a high school senior that has overcome the obstacle of a learning disability and is now ready to graduate. Perhaps a military family who would like a photo session before being sent overseas. An individual fighting illness who wants to create some memories with their loved ones.
Whatever the case, complete the email form below and share their story. Periodically, I will choose one of the nominees for a free digital photo session. I welcome the opportunity to do sessions for as many of these families or individuals as I can, and share their story on my blog if they choose.
