Welcome to 2024, beautiful people! I'm so excited to share my graduating seniors with you this new year and spend some time bragging on all their amazing accomplishments!

So, without further ado.....Friends, Meet Ella C., Class of 2024, Hoover High School!!

Ella is a new client to me, but I was thrilled to talk with her mom and book both a senior session AND a family session with this wonderful family! So let's start out with Ella's senior session.

Ella is from North Canton, but we decided to stretch our boundaries a little bit and head over to Alliance for our session.

I'm not sure if my favorite part of this session was the castle, the light, the flowers, the mural, the distressed brick and paint, but let me tell you.....it was ALL working for Ella during our senior shoot!

Grayish green marble? Check!

Golden light with beautiful highlights? Check!

Pink fluffy flowers?? Check!

Funky urban mural, downtown urban vibes, and gritty brick and paint?? Check, Check, and CHECK!!

It was high priority of Ella to go to the flower field at the end of her session, and I NEVER say no to flowers!

We dealt with a little mush and muck in the field, but you would never guess from this beautiful glowy sunlight!

This local flower field NEVER disappoints! Beauty, charm, and glow....it has it all! Ella was a most stunning model and the sun was completely showing off this night!

Life is good any time I get to work with new seniors, but the opportunity to work with them AGAIN in the context of their entire family is a real treat! I am soooo glad I had the opportunity to work with you, Ella and your family as well! Enjoy the rest of your senior year!

This year has been another amazing summer and fall season of meeting and greeting young talented seniors in front of my camera.

2024 was filled with one of the most diverse groups of soon-to-be graduates I have ever photographed- athletes from cross country, track and field, swimming, soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, and basketball; academic challengers, speech and debaters, actors, performers, musicians and singers; those who minister, those who serve; well, to summarize- creative, smart, beautiful, handsome, and social and talented young people! Gosh, when I type that all out, I realize our future is so very bright!

I not only met a diverse group of people, but I visited a diverse choice of locations this year. I visited places north, south, east and west of my town, and enjoyed every single place! From homes to schools, stadiums to fields, streets to meadows- every shoot was a little different than the one before and I was so lucky to get to visit some really photographic places!

This year's seniors represent Jackson, Hoover, GlenOak, Marlington, Tusky Valley, and Copley High School. Their future plans include an alphabet soup of schools all around our great state- UF, OU, OSU, BGSU, Miami of Ohio, KSU, UMU, and UT. Some are still making their final decision, and I can't blame them- I'm sure there's a ton of opportunities at universities, technical schools, work places, and armed services.

In November and December, I will also be offering studio headshots, included as part of the senior session for all seniors doing a full session with me. These pictures are ideal for yearbook, and (if you are from Jackson) meet all yearbook requirements. Any senior who ONLY needs a studio picture can also schedule at this time for a fee, so bring a friend! Information will be posted on the webpage, facebook, and instagram so you can easily find it!

I will begin scheduling Class of 2025 Seniors (gasp!!) in the spring, and will take clients until my schedule is full (usually around 15 clients)! If you would like to be notified when senior booking opens up, drop me an email and I'll be glad to add you to my mailing list!

Over the next few weeks and months, I'll be featuring my seniors in some blog posts and sharing some favorite pictures from all the sessions as I finish the editing, publishing, ordering and delivering. I look forward to shining the spotlight on these amazingly bright scholars, athletes, performers, and workers!

Until next time....keep smiling!

Recently I spent an evening creating some very special pictures for some very special Parents-To-Be!

Meet Ryan and Amanda and Baby Carson!

Amanda and Ryan were gifted their maternity and newborn photo sessions from their family at Christmas, and they were thrilled to have such a special way to commemorate this special time as their young family grows.

We spent and evening at the park finding some perfectly beautiful light and even some patches of wildflowers that provided all the pop and pizazz that a photographer could ask for. Add a gorgeous couple and the cutest 'lil bump and it's a recipe for perfect maternity pictures!

And I couldn't forget to mention the "first baby" of this mommy and daddy! This pup is also quite eager to meet the new little one!

I'm excited to meet baby Carson, but not nearly as excited as his mama and daddy (and ALLLL the other family and friends that have been waiting 9 LONG months for his arrival!!!

Stop back in a few weeks to meet this sweet little fella and share all the happiness and joy as this young couple becomes a FAMILY OF THREE!!
