I've started a photo project this April since my project 365 always proves to be harder than I think it should be.
This project is a lot more integrated learning of photography fundamentals, and includes a "lesson" and "homework" each week. It's slower paced than a 365 project, and has alot more room for creative license. But my favorite part so far has been the simple and practical explanations and demonstrations. These are ways I hope to be able to share with you and help you along your photographic journey.
If you are interested in following along, the website A Year with my Camera is a great place to start. The website will help you to setup an account. There are books, videos, and a planner, but none of that is required to do the project. The project starts 4 times a year (I think) so you are able to choose when you want to start. (I'm doing the #April2019 group). There is a facebook group for each session that you can join also, which invites discussion and support.
No matter what project, pastime or profession I choose, I find that immersion and lifetime learning are keys to success. Curiosity provides the questions, and a network of others will help you find the answers. This project provides both.
If you've had your camera in auto mode since day one, and can't figure out why your pictures turn out the way they do, or how to make adjustments to your camera to take the picture YOU want, this course is a great place to start!

Jennifer
