A client of mine recommended me to John and his mom, and a surprise phone call in April for senior pictures for THIS school year had me a little worried. But a late "smile emergency" meant that John and his mom wanted to wait until the braces could come off before scheduling this session. This was going to be a scramble to make this happen, but I'm so glad we found a way to make this work!
John requested a trip to Cleveland for his senior session- He's interested in music production, and has quite a talent for it. He writes his own music, and even performs occasionally, so there was no better place than the "Birthplace of Rock and Roll" for his senior session.
I did some fortuitous location scouting before our session (thank you google maps!), and armed with a personable senior, a willing driver, great weather, and a city in love with music, we filled our afternoon with an amazing session.
As we drove to numerous locations around Cleveland, I remember what living in a city feels like. The life, the people, the hustle. Sometimes I miss the city- the constant activity, the energy, the "heartbeat." Not that there's anything wrong with my quaint little suburbia. But you simply forget what an oyster you live in until you visit a bigger place. We are so lucky have this gem a short drive away....and Cleveland has everything a creative mind could hope for- big city, shoreline, a lotta shine and even a little grunge.
I enjoyed working with John today. He's a bright young man, with a plentitude of talent and passion. His future is wonderfully promising, and I'm sure we'll see his work on albums, videos, and other forms of media. Good Luck at Kent State...and (not to quote a famous rock band or anything {wink}) "Don't stop....believing....Hold on to that feeling!"
Keep Smiling!
